Okay, so I've not had the necessary days-in-a-row to dedicate to doing this painting lately. I think the shirt and coat are done though.

In his essay "House, habit, and memory" Joe Moran wrote about the way certain building materials inspire feelings of belonging in humans. This idea has been a large influence on the experiments.1
